3D printing will be the revolution in architecture

Thanks to the new range of possibilities offered by this technology, furniture that functions like 3D printed trees and forests have been created.
A few years ago, imagining a 3D printer seemed like an idea out of futuristic science fiction movies. But that future came sooner than we thought, bringing about a real industrial revolution.
The list of benefits of 3D printing convinces anyone, since, first of all, it has democratized design. Its accessibility and low cost has prompted many designers to investigate new ways of creating.
With this new range of possibilities it offers, architecture and interior design is taking advantage of this new technology to reinvent spaces and reduce waste that is discarded in the construction process.
For example, Casa Sayrach’s furniture, which used 3D printing to create chairs and tables.
There is also the work of External Reference studio, who created a 3D printed artificial forest that produces oxygen and an interactive tree that reacts to the public’s sustainable habits.
This is just a sample of how 3D printing can also be applied to architecture and space design.
